School Bus Dispatcher

About the Role

Transportation Coordinator Schedule and coordinate daily bus routes, field trips, and special transportation requests.

Dispatch school buses and drivers efficiently, ensuring timely service. Monitor radio communications and provide

real-time support to drivers. Respond to emergencies, delays, or route changes with effective problem-solving. Maintain

accurate records of driver assignments, vehicle inspections, and route modifications. Communicate with school

administrators, parents, and transportation staff regarding route changes, delays, and concerns. Ensure compliance with

local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Assist in training and onboarding new drivers regarding dispatch
