Job Title: Structural Fitter/Welder Job Description This role focuses on fitting and welding large structural steel

assemblies used in building construction, including I-beams, trusses, handrails, and stairs. You interpret structural

blueprints, gather materials, lay out and fit components, and perform MIG welding to meet precise specifications. The

position involves extensive cutting, trimming, grinding, and fitting work in a large, open shop environment that uses

overhead cranes and other heavy equipment to handle steel assemblies. Read and interpret structural steel blueprints and

drawings, including weld symbols, to understand project requirements and specifications. Select and gather required
