Industrial Boiler Operator
About the Role
Power Plant Operator Variable shifts, hours include: Evening - 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Night - 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Under limited
supervision, operates, maintains, and repairs major power plant and/or auxiliary equipment such as boilers, chillers,
programmable controls, pumps, condensers, generators, air compressors and refrigeration equipment for all Hospital
buildings. Programs and monitors equipment controls and makes necessary adjustments. Monitors all building utilities as
well as providing ongoing sampling of boilers and maintaining appropriate steam pressure to operate the building. This
position reports to the Facilities Supervisor. Under moderate direction responsible for the safe, efficient operation of
