Fabricator/mechanic

About the Role

Fabricator I (Metal) The Fabricator I (Metal) will cut materials to size and shape and weld metal using hand tools and

equipment such as band saws, material brakes, and material shears. The role will provide welding support for the garage

shop services teams. The Fabricator I (Metal) will be mentored and supported by team members on project work and

customer interactions. Weld instrumentation, exhaust tubes, and bosses. Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning with sanding

disk and wire brushes to remove impurities such as scale, rust, grease, and moisture. Operate manual and semi-automatic

welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions. Keep shop equipment operating by following operating
