About the Role
The General Utility position maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware and utensils in a clean, sanitary and
orderly condition. Assists in food preparation procedures. Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and places them
in dishwashing machine (50%*). • Washes work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment and floors
(5%*). • Works indoors (90%*), outdoors (10%*). • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as
contracts, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of
customers or employees of the organization. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete
